The only company focused on Condominium EV Charging Stations

Founded by industry veterans with more than 35 years of experience and knowledge of Start-ups,  IPO's, M&A, Fossil Fuels, Technology and SaaS. 

 

We noticed early on that the secret to the success of the EV market was not solely dependent on more manufacturers offering multiple EV vehicles, but rather on the availability of the FAST charging stations necessary to keep these vehicles charged.

Most companies that offer EV Charging Stations are installing them in public locations, supermarket car parks, local government offices, and mall lots etc. While all of these are great locations, the majority are SLOW (Level 2) charges which can take up to 12 hours to charge a car, which makes it unrealistic that the EV owner is can leave their vehicle in this public space for half a day.

 

Nothing beats having a charging station at your home. Which if you are a single family home owner, the only restriction on you adding an EV Charger at home is your willingness to pay for it.

However, if you are one of the 74million people living in one of the 352,000 Condominium Association managed communities in the US. the ability to add an EV Charger is severely limited by the Association and the prohibitive cost to install it. Over 95% of these communities were built over 10 years ago, long before EV charging stations were ever thought of and therefore do not have chargers installed.. 

 

While a single family home installation may cost $2,000, the cost to install in the Association community can easily range from $15,000 - $35,000. As an owner you are almost entirely dependent on the Association Board voting to approve spending to add an EV Charger or you need to foot the bill yourself.

 

CondoEV noticed this gap in the market and have built a business model that allows us to provide Dual Ported FAST (Level 3) charging stations to Condominium and Homeowner Associations at no cost to the Association.
